Frequently Asked Questions
Wedding FAQ
How do I request a quote?
Once you’ve submitted your enquiry, we’ll check the availability of your chosen items and get back to you with confirmation of availability, along with a delivery and collection quote for your venue.
Nothing is confirmed or booked until we’ve spoken to you and you’re happy to go ahead.
How long is the hire period?
Our standard hire period is up to 72 hours, giving you plenty of time to get everything set up before your event and packed away afterwards.
Where possible, we’ll deliver the day before your event and collect the day after, so you can enjoy your wedding day without having to worry about rushing to set up or return your items.
Our prices apply to the full hire period, whether you need the items for just a few hours or the full 72 hours. We don’t charge extra for using the full hire period.
If you have a specific delivery or collection requirement, just let us know when you enquire and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free within 10 miles of GL16 on orders that meet our minimum £100 hire value.
For venues more than 10 miles from GL16, delivery and collection are charged based on the distance and location of your venue.
When you enquire, we’ll check your venue and provide a delivery and collection quote along with confirmation of item availability.
Please note that delivery and collection charges are separate from the hire value.
Can I arrange collection?
We welcome collection of many of our items, but we do require suitable transport or vehicles for our larger items. We do not accept couriers or responsibility for any damage or injury that may occur during collection. Therefore, we highly recommend that delivery be requested for many of our larger or fragile items.
Will you set up my hired items on delivery/dismantle any hired items upon collection?
Yes! Setup and pack-down are fully included in our hire prices. Whenever possible, we prefer to set up and arrange your items upon delivery and pack them away during collection to ensure everything looks perfect and runs smoothly for your day.
However, if your venue has restricted access times or you prefer to style the items yourself, you or your venue team are more than welcome to handle the setup instead. Just let us know what works best for you when you enquire!
Is there a minimum order?
Yes. Our minimum hire value is £100 for venues within 10 miles of GL16 and £250 for venues more than 10 miles from GL16.
The minimum hire value applies to the items you are hiring and does not include delivery or collection charges.
My venue requires suppliers have Public Liability Insurance?
We have public liability insurance up to the value of £5million as is required by most venues.
We can supply a certificate of insurance to your venue upon request.
Do I have to pay a deposit or security deposit?
In order to secure your booking, we require a £50 non refundable deposit. Please note that your hire date will not be confirmed until this deposit has been received. We do not reserve hire dates without a deposit, and we reserve the right to accept and confirm other bookings for the same date at any time, provided we have not already received a deposit.
To ensure a smooth and stress-free experience, we require full remaining balance four weeks prior to the date of hire. We will contact you in due course to remind you of upcoming payment. Please be aware that failure to pay the balance will result in the cancellation of your booking.
We understand that plans can change, but please note that the deposit is non-refundable. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
